The Grand Ballroom
The Grand Ballroom in The Martha Washington Inn can accommodate a wide variety of events. Located on the second floor of the inn, the ballroom features Austrian Crystal Chandeliers, a hardwood dance floor surrounded by burgundy carpeting, and a separate outside entrance and porch. The ballroom offers a unique location for a business meeting, as the spacious room can be arranged in several different styles to accommodate your needs. Weddings are our specialty at The Martha, and the Grand Ballroom is the perfect location for an elegant wedding celebration. East Parlor
Upon entering The Martha Washington Inn, guests are greeted by two perfectly sectioned front parlors and one back parlor. This popular function site has hardwood floors, features three fireplaces, and faces historic Main Street in Abingdon. This facility is the ideal setting for your next event, whether it is for business or pleasure.

Porterfield Room and Boardroom
If you’re looking for something quaint and inviting, the Porterfield Room is the perfect spot. Named for Robert Porterfield, founder of the Barter Theatre, and decorated in memorabilia from the playhouse, this room is sure to delight smaller groups with its uniquely Abindgon experience. The Martha also offers a Boardroom perfect for small business meetings.
