Mid-Atlantic Regional Garden Faire

The Seventh Annual Regional Garden Faire will be one of the most inclusive garden shows in the Southeast.  The beautiful Garden Marketplace will feature thousands of plant varieties, an amazing array of garden accessories, and more!

Highlands Jazz Festival

Fifth Annual Festival featuring traditional classic jazz in a cabaret-style setting.  Great jazz entertainment, food and beverage sales, and more.  Grand Hall of the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center.  Season tickets and group rates available.

Plumb Alley Day

Annual community celebration of Spring the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend.  Arts, crafts, food, entertainment, bake sales, yard sales, and much more.  Find it all on the alley between Main and Valley Streets.

Summer Concert Series

Throughout Summer and Early Fall
A series of different music will be presented on Saturday evenings throughout the summer and early fall.  Everything from classical to bluegrass to jazz will be performed on the Kiwanis Pavilion in the small Town Park on Main Street. No admission fee.

Virginia Highlands Festival

Experience the culture of Southwest Virginia’s Blue Ridge Highlands through arts and crafts, antiques, photography, creative writing, youth events, fine foods, drama, concerts, nature walks, historical tours, hot air balloons, etc!  Named one of the Top 100 Events in North America by the American Bus Association and Top Twenty Events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society.

Washington County Fair

The Fair features educational exhibits, carnival rides, a petting zoo, a parade and much more!  The Fair also presents nationally known entertainers in concert throughout the week.
