Changing Palettes With Nature And Light

Contemporary organic colorist Kristi Bruce Taylor pays homage to the seasons with her newest collection of color rich nature paintings.  Taylor's works of abstract landscapes, tree imagery and water elements give an inspired feel of the most common influences of our ever changing environments.

This exhibit, the third in a series of monthly featured artists presented by The Gallery, will be displayed in The Regional Art Exhibit Hall (located just outside the dining room of the Hotel) at The Martha Washington Hotel & Spa.  Additional works of Kristi Taylor are located in The Gallery.  All works on view are available for purchase.

Presented by The Gallery and hosted by The Martha Washington Hotel, these monthly exhibits celebrate the artistic spirit of the region while supporting the local artists who reside in our area.

The Gallery is located adjacent to the Dining Room of The Martha Washington Hotel & Spa. Offering a diverse collection of fine art, The Gallery prides itself in representing a core group of talented artists who reside in our region, several of who have been recognized on a national and international scale.  The Gallery's collection includes original works of Appalachian landscapes in oils, watercolors, and fabric; fantasy, contemporary and nature art themes created with various mediums on canvas and paper; hand painted glassworks, wood creations turned from indigenous trees of the region, and glass blown fine art jewelry.  The Gallery also offers a special collection of fine art photographic architectural and scenic images of the Martha Washington Hotel, sold exclusively in The Gallery.
